Our Staff

Angela Reynolds: Angela was born and raised in Eatonton. She has worked at veterinary hospitals for 28 years.  She lives on a farm with multiple dogs, horses, donkeys, rabbits, goats, and cows.  She enjoys attending church every week, running, spending time with her animals and horseback riding.

Ashley Poss: Ashley has been part of our team since April 2009.  Working with animals has always been a passion of hers.  When not taking care of the precious babies that come into our clinic, she is spending time with her two human children as well as her personal 4-legged children.

Melissa Volentine: Melissa has been with us since October 2018. She graduated from Georgia College and State University in 2015. She has been working in the veterinary field for the last 8 years and is planning on pursuing her accreditation as a registered veterinary technician.  In her free time, she enjoys spending her time with her friends, family and pets, and riding her horse.

Jordan Sorrells: Jordan was born and raised in Forsyth County. She has been with us since June 2019. She graduated from the University of Georgia in December of 2018; however, she plans on returning to pursue her dream of being a veterinarian. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her pets as well as tending to her home garden.

Taylor Richter: Taylor is originally from Atlanta & moved to Eatonton when she was in the 7th grade. She attended Georgia Southern University for her undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice & Anthropology. She then went on to attend the University of Tennessee where she, & her dog Brewski, earned their Masters in counseling based Social Work with an emphasis in Veterinary Social Work. She loves all things outdoors including hiking, skiing, & horseback riding.

Kelsey Brooklyn: Kelsey was born in Florida and moved to Georgia when she was 5 years old. She has always had a passion for animals, but she started her career in the human medical field. She decided that four-legged friends were a better suit for her, so she came to work with us in December 2019. In her free time she enjoys hanging out with her furry family as well as racing diesel trucks.

Cindy Hegwood: Cindy was born in Atlanta and moved to Newton County at age 11. She has loved animals as long as she can remember. Her animal family is large and consists of dogs, pigs, goats, rabbits, a cat, as well as an African Grey parrot. In her spare time she enjoys being outdoors and spending time with family. She loves her church as well!

Emily Williams: Emily is currently a pre-vet student at Georgia College and State University. She was born and raised in Alpharetta. In her spare time, she volunteers at the Baldwin County Shelter and takes care of her foster cats.
